- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Specialist to to develop job descriptions, source and screen resumes
- Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring processes
- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs
- Organize orientation sessions for new hires and standardized paperwork and legal documentation workflows
- Provide targeted training on onboarding systems (e.g., HRIS)
- Support market-level users with system troubleshooting and refreshers
- Facilitate smooth transitions when employees exit the organization and conduct exit interviews with employees who are exiting the organization
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and disputes in a timely, respectful, and confidential manner
- Promote a positive workplace environment
- Implement and manage performance review systems
- Work with the People Operations department to set up feedback mechanisms and development plans based on feedback
- Partner with the Training department to assist in identifying skill gaps and training needs
- Promote career growth and succession planning
- Align HR goals with organizational strategy
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures
- Partner with Director of Administration to oversee salary structures and benefits programs
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and workplace regulations
- Manage audits and policy updates
- Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives
- Manage health programs and safety protocols
- Promote workplace safety and mental well-being
- Maintain HRIS (R365) in conjunction with the Payroll and Training departments
- Maintain ATS (R365 Hire) in partnership with Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Minimum of 3 years experience in HR or an HR related field
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
- A minimum of 2 years experience supervising others
- The ability to handle confidential information daily
- Monday - Friday. Position averages 40 hours weekly
- Travel required (estimated at 50%) for home office meetings, market visits, continuing education, conferences and events
